Education

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Neuroscience from the University of North Carolina at Asheville in 2013, and my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Appalachian State University in 2015.

License

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina (LCMHC License #11929) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (C.2305359) in Ohio.

In addition to my required clinical training, I have the following specialized trainings: EMDR Therapy, Body-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Experience

In my career, I have worked in a college counseling center, a domestic violence crisis support center, as an in-home counselor, and in private practice.

I have provided counseling to children, adolescents, and adults with mood and/or anxiety disorders, recent life adjustments (i.e. loss of a loved one, move, separation/divorce, career change), a history of trauma, and academic concerns.
